Judging by the wild success of Hungary’s building a fence against illegal migrants, of course I think it will drastically lower the numbers of illegal immigration to the USA.

Yes it will , that is a no brainer
Of course it will reduce the huge number of illegals in the country. Every country identifies it’s borders and governments use that as a means of economic substance, where they sell citizenship, but in America you now have this wave of illegal immigrants, who don’t pay for a visa, don’t pay for a green card and get all the benefits, how is this fair? Immigrants built America, that’s right, but then they formed a country. If you want it described any other way, two single people come together and form a family, America is that family. If America continues to permit the flow of illegal immigration, at what point will other laws go without punishment? How will America’s economy sustain them? How will the minimum wage increase? How does America identify and protect it’s citizens?
The list goes on and on, yet you have politicians who pivot and pander to gain votes, when a few years ago they sang the same song that Donald Trump has been singing for years; as a democrat and now as a republican. When they riot, I don’t see America’s flag being waved, it’s being burnt. How would those immigrants who came to his great land and fought to make a country feel to see that their hard work for their children has become the immigrant dumping ground on the verge of losing it’s identity. This isn’t freedom, this isn’t constitutional, it is wrong.

If a wall is built it will also need to be manned and patrolled. Not just erected to stand there as a symbol. The wall will need parapets and constant patrolling to keep the illegal immigrants and America’s enemies from accessing our country.

Of course it will reduce illegal immigration, especially if our politics get out of the way and let the border patrol do their jobs. The illegals should not hit American soil in the first place. This will also help stop anchor babies and their mothers who come here just to collect welfare. Why don’t they collect welfare in Mexico, we sure send them enough money and jobs.
