Why Ohio Democrats are Voting for Donald Trump
Every once in a while even the most liberal publications stumble upon the truth.
Lack of jobs, dilapidated infrastructure, and a pervading sense of being forsaken by the Democratic government all describe the state of many blue-collar towns across America.
The town of Weirton Ohio is a case-in-point example of this state of affairs.
The Weirton Steel Company, employing 12,000 people only a few years ago, now employs only 900.
The residents of Weirton OH are just a few of the hard-working Americans across the country that feel disenfranchised by a government that continues to sign international trade deals that hurt the American worker.
For this reason, surprising numbers of those workers, both union and otherwise, will cast their ballots for the Republican presidential nominee for the first time in a very long time.
Mr. Trump is an advocate of fair trade but, more importantly, he is an advocate of smart trade. And he will put the American worker first.

My 84 year old FiL is a life long Dem in Ohio. He is voting Rep because he says there is no Dem Party left. It has been abandoned by the old timers and taken over by “progressives” which is just another word for socialist. They brought their political correctness in and totally changed the ideology of the party. He says today’s Republicans are more in line w the Dems of many years ago as far as ideas.

It takes a strong leader to lead ppl out of the snares/bondages but Trump is strong but he has a temper. We need him to continue leading with wisdom. Hillary will beat herself if left alone. Just stay focused on what you want for us the ppl and let us hear your plans the rest will follow. Just remember why you wanted to run this race to start with. It wasn’t for money, it wasn’t out of boredom, it wasn’t because you need the prestige, you already have that. It was for us…when someone makes you angry just remember what you are fighting for and stay focused.
e’s running for POTUS because of his kids & grandkids & their future. A friend of mine took a trip to NYC about the time of their primary earlierthis year, before his nomination. She told me she went into Trump Tower just to see it; but then she saw Donald Trump, his wife Melania & his security team walking down the hallway in an upper floor, & she got his attention as he approached her. After a nice hug & “hellos” were over, she asked him why he was doing. He gave her that reply I stated. He said he wants his kids & mostly his grandkids to have the same opportunitieshe did, for a better future for them as much as he had. It’s not anything to do with his money, his fame, or “prestige”…..his future is his grandkids’ future.
