With Megyn Kelly FINALLY GONE from Fox News, there is hope among Trump Supporters she will be replaced by someone who did not try to make the hallmark of her career taking down Trump.
According to NYMag, the Murdochs want a woman to stay in the time slot, so let’s assume that is accurate.
Here are the reported top contenders.
Trish Regan
A solid reporter. Does she have the charisma and star power to headline a show?
Shannon Bream
Shannon stepped in for Megyn often when she was away and did a far better job staying neutral during the GOP Primary. She is fairly well liked among Trump supporters for this. A common joke in the Trump community was that the times when Shannon Bream hosted were the only times the show was good.
Sandra Smith
Hmmmm…. “The Smith File?” Sandra would be pulled over from the Fox Business network if chosen.
Martha Maccallum
Martha Maccallum would be a solid choice, she filled in regularly as well for Megyn Kelly with better results than the original.
Kimberly Guilfoyle
Kimberly Guilfoyle is rumored to be lobbying for the job. She is known for her spunk, but would this translate well into an hour long political commentary show?

Ann Coulter. She suffered much ridicule from her peers throughout the campaign but stood tall and strong and unaffected. She is always on point, expressive of logic and intellectual thought rather than emotional, dramatic effect.

I agree that she would do a good job–but she, like Megyn, suffers from the “Look at me! Syndrome”. No doubt, she is very intelligent–but she doesn’t have a pleasant voice. It is nerve-rackingly nasal–not of broadcasting quality.

How about a completely different 9:00 slot, each night, a different women of these names given. Can’t do all at once or you’ll end up like the other shows on Fox. But I like a fresh face with a different idea each night. They can choose their own guests. Lose the ‘File’ name. Megyn can take that to yucky NBC 🙁 with her.

I think Fox has been very blessed to have everyone of these great news ladies. Everyone deserves a raise. When they took over for Megan Kelly, they did an outstanding Job There is no other News Station that is worthy of anyone of these fine (and I mean fine ),ladies to work anywhere else but Fox. I’ll be honest, they are all the reason Fox is Number one.
Those who dislike Trump must clean up there act because whether you like him or not, He is the next President of the United States. Dead airspace could replace Megyn Kelly however, to make things better I would say the most obvious choice for a hard news person would be Shannon Bream. Tomi Lahren would be a nice runner up but I think Bream has proven herself in nightly spots already with her subbing for various hosts.

Tomi would be good for the younger crowd, but she really doesn’t have depth nor experience to be considered as a replacement for Megyn Kelly. Put Tomi in the late morning / early afternoon slot when Millennials are waking up, and she will be a hit.
Tomi seems too young and cutesy acting. I suspect Shannon, Sandra and Martha are not true Conservatives. Sandra, Trish, and Martha are a little boring. Kimberly’s voice is nerve-rackingly nasal. Ann is too over-the-top.

All of the choices are an embarrassment of riches – Fox really does have all of the talent. Beautiful, highly educated, charming. Compare these ladies to the hags on the other networks ! yikes
I really think Fox should snap up Lahren. She is gorgeous, young and wicked smart – a superb interviewer…..definitely has all of the conservative bona fides. whether they put her in the 9pm slot doesn’t matter. She is a super star. Tucker is also a super star.

Laura Ingraham. I stream her on the computer every morning. Great, hard hitting and not afraid to do the job. Was an early Trump supporter. Is a conservative, not a moderate.
Laura Ingraham would be my choice, hands down. She’s tough and has great timing. Kimberly Guilfoyle is overdone. Her delivery is stuffy and her jokes don’t fly. Shannon Bream did an ok job but seems like she would be just a Megyn number 2. Martha is nice and I like her in her morning show but not sure she would be good in the 9 pm slot. I’m glad to see Megyn go, she’s gotten way to full of herself and has Geraldo syndrome where she thinks her opinion is so much better than anyone else’s. Laura Ingraham would be great!
Fox should fill Megan’s position with an conservative African American female or male …I would move Hannity to the time slot and move Tucker to Hannity’s current time slot…Megan’s replacement should be moved to Tucker’s current time slot…I watch Fox News every day…personally glad to see Megan go, but wish her and her family well

Who says it has to be a woman? Why not Andrew Wilkow of the Wilkow Majority on XM. Great show. He is a constitutional conservative and is good with interviewing both liberals and conservatives. Yeah, he’s not a pretty pace but is he is good at what he does. Give him a shot.
I know, I know. The women’s libbers will cry “Foul!” because it will be exclusively a men’s club from 6pm to 11pm, but it would be a killer lineup. CNN and MSNBC would continue their downward spiral into anonymity.

Martha Mccallum is professional and we’ll informed. She is also unbiased which is a trait this show needs. I was a Megyn Kelly supporter for years but watching her change was painful. Does she really think FOX viewers will watch NBC? I wish her well but glad she’s gone.
