Everyone needs to read an article by Cliff Zukin of the NYtimes called “What’s the Matter with Polling?” Very informative.
Hillary Clinton is getting a favourable advantage from CNN and all the other Networks because of the owners who own the networks like Time warner who are socialist. So the reporters are forced to favour Clinton. Just listen to the coverage from Jake Trapper, Anderson Cooper, Don Lemon, or Wolf Blister. You will get a good idea of how biased they are to Mr. Trump.
Republicans know that the Media and Hollywood are for the most part, the Democratic Party, this time around.

This same claim was made in the 2012 elections. The claims of bias against the republican candidate Mitt Romney convinced conservatives he was actually in a much better standing. Guess what? That supposed bias? It didn’t exist. In fact, Obama won even wider margins than the supposed “liberal polls” predicted. I’m not saying trump won’t win, but I am saying, these poll sites have pretty decent track records. This website is getting up conservative homes for nothing. Nate Silver has a great article on this on fivethirtyeigth.com. His site has accurately predicted the elections since 2008. This site is wrong.

What you fail to mention is the same consortium of pollers including Reuters and AP are the ones who call the election. So, sure the polls match up with what they call. It’s not rigged….it’s totally rigged.

Yep. Media hopes that biased polls showing their candidate inthe lead will influence voters who want to vote for a winner. What they are forgetting this time around is Trump is an anger movement and a repeal of the past eight years of misery.

I don’t think you understood the point of the article. The polls are consistently surveying more Democrats than Republicans which creates an error. Since people tend to vote along Party lines for the Poll to be accurate you need to survey an equal number of Democrats and Republicans. LongRoom corrects for that error and then projects the corrected poll per State by the percentage of Republicans and Democrats in that State which yields a much more accurate number.
So when Reuters says she is up by 5, you look at the bias score and find you have to deduct 5.9, which means she is losing by 0.9. If Reuters has her down by 3 you deduct 5.9 and find she is really down 8.9. Unfortunately you can’t just trust the media anymore, you have to nitpick their sources and methods because they are more interested in breaking stories than getting it correct.
The point you are missing is that you wouldnt know polling from your ass crack.
But why do they tend to be very accurate in the real world over years and years of elections? Oh that’s right, they don’t bias to one side or the other.
That’s how they stay in business, being more accurate than other polls.
Tell me, who runs longroom. What methods do they use (don’t use the party registration and race points because while they claim that, many states don’t even register voters and others don’t track race on them).

The 4 people listed that run it have nothing in their bio’s (” involved with internet community management his entire career”) and I can’t find them anywhere online.
Their methods make no sense (they use “party registration” and “race” and in states that don’t even track voter registration appear to be putting in the bias’s there).
How can they claim they were right in the past two election cycles when they have nothing before 2015??

It sounds like a fun conspiracy theory that these polls are rigged (the same ones that weren’t when they were predicting for Trump correctly in the republican primaries), but they get their business and run by being the best at getting it right. Sounds like that random poll from the 2012 election that showed Obama was going to lose to Romney, then shut down immediately after the election.
Plus making a bias to support Hillary makes no sense logically. Hmm, she’s dominating, guess I won’t worry about voting” vs. “oh crap my candidates behind, lets rally the turnout”. I think this is the poll Hillary would want, the one showing a close race to get her supporters out.

Legit polling companies are rated by the predictive abilities, not their bias. Fraud polling sites will provide some temporary comfort for the uninformed, but come November 2016, that comfort will painfully vanish.
I never meet anyone in my personal or professional life that is for Hillary. Aside from a couple staunch democrats – everyone else I meet from plumbers to execs are for trump. They all think the polls are a joke, totally non representative of reality- I guess we will soon find out….
