VIRAL POST : Why 2016 is the MOST IMPORTANT ELECTION OF OUR LIFETIME
As of 2016, we as a nation are at an inflection point, the kind of which is only seen once every several decades. America is mired in crises, from the erosion of the middle class to the war on Radical Islamic Terrorism to the assaults on freedom of speech and the right to bear arms to the mounting national debt and so many other pitfalls.
The situation is, frankly, a complete mess. The Obama administration certainly owns a significant part of the blame, but in truth much of the old school Republican leadership (Bush II, for example) shares the guilt. The real father of our national misery is the two party system and its shadowy puppet master, global corporatism.
This cabal of corrupt politicians and ultra wealthy robber barrons have and continue to sell our country down the river while feeding us lies upon lies upon lies… the sheer level of rampant self interest at the expense of all else – the principles of peace, freedom, democracy – is absolutely disgusting.
Right now America has two great enemies: The obvious one is ISIS, the antithesis of every single belief our country was founded on. Personally, I suspect that ISIS is in many ways a vicious dog at the end of a chain (a tenuous chain) and that chain is being held by our less obvious, but equally potent enemy, the global corporatists.
I sincerely believe that in this struggle, the nature of which is to restore real power to the people of the United States, and return our nation to an era of safety and prosperity, we have at last reached the point of no return.
If Hillary Clinton, a blatant, shameless, unabashed, and completely dishonest global corporatist becomes the 45th president of the United States, we will never have a fair election with candidates that truly represent the values of the American people ever again. Measures WILL be taken to ensure that a populist Donald Trump or Bernie Sanders scenario never occurs again. Every four years henceforth, we WILL see a “Bush vs. Clinton” two party global corporatist scenario, every single time.
Even completely ignoring the other countless disasters that another Clinton administration would visit on our country – I’m certain that both I and many of you could write several books on that subject – this one point of contention represents the difference between an actual democracy and a plutocratic, pseudo fascist, nominal “democracy” going forward into the 21st century.
For this reason Hillary Clinton cannot be allowed to win this election. Donald Trump is our one chance to roll back the damage that has already been done. He is the LAST round in our chamber. Donald Trump needs to be the 45th president of the United States, because this is the last time the American people will have a viable, legitimate, and civil means to enforce their will upon the federal government.
Barring that, revolution will be the only alternative to global corporatist slavery. Not a series of protests, not a political or social movement, I mean a real, actual, and in all likelihood violent revolution. It may not happen in 2016, or in 2020, or in 2024, but if the existing trend continues down its destructive path, it WILL happen, and I’m willing to bet before mid-century.
In summation, we have a choice between the opportunity to rebuild our nation – to Make America Great Again – and a very serious possibility that several decades from now America will exist in name only. I would like to think that future historians will look back on 2016 as the year that we, the American people, turned the tide, and I will be doing my part to make that dream a reality come November.
