U2 has canceled the release of their new album because Donald Trump won the election.
Guitarist ‘The Edge’ tells Rolling Stone, “It’s like a pendulum has suddenly just taken a huge swing in the other direction.” … “The election [happened] and suddenly the world changed.
We just went, ‘Hold on a second, we’ve got to give ourselves a moment to think about this record and about how it relates to what’s going on in the world.’”

U2 – Why are you punishing all of the fans that supported you all of these years? You promised us “Songs of Experience this year. If you were so opposed to Trump and the outcome, then why not use your fame and face, music, to educate and heal those that disagree. (I’m sorry but Joshua Tree is not a concept album or relates to what is happening in the US in terms of a tour.) I suggest you look at what Roger Waters is doing in his tour this year to get some creative ideas instead of waving your own personal white flag (pun intended) and retreating. Roger Waters certainly not lying down with the election outcome. But then again, you are NO Pink Floyd.
