The Trump campaign rally in Anaheim, CA was off-schedule and about to get underway without the National Anthem having being sung.
Donald Trump would not let this happen so even though he was already on stage, he called the lady who was supposed to sing up to the stage with him to fulfill her destiny in a much higher profile manner than if the event had gone as scheduled. Trump stood proudly behind her while she sung, with his hand on his heart – a moment to remember.
I think he needs to remind his supporters to remove their hats when the star spangled banner is played.
That’s not his responsibility to tell people to remove hats. It’s the individuals responsibility to show respect. Just goes to show how much respect has been lost for our country and the songs that have had heart felt meanings for several generations. WAKE UP AMERICA !!!
I think the reporter should have known it should be “National Anthem must be SUNG”, not “sang” LOL!
I’ve had to tell people at ballgames numerous times. And that’s after getting explicit instructions to remove their caps.
I know they do it but I don’t understand why the removal of one’s hat makes them more patriotic or show more respect. It’s only a hat that sits on one’s head just as a shirt is on one’s torso. I can see putting your hand over your heart and everything else but why does removing one’s hat make one more respectful? Just because they did it hundreds of years ago still doesn’t make it a sign of respect.
do women still like a door open for them, should we not say amen after prayer, why should i buy you a fancy box of chocolates when a Milky Way will do, Its a sign of love and the ultimate respect for people who lost their lives and the ones still fighting, When it is played emotions run differently, some respect and love our country so they are grateful, some get very sad cause it reminds them of their passed love ones lost at war. Even today men remove their hats in church, at funerals, and in fact in most buildings they enter. Don’t know where your from ? but if you sit next to me you will take TAKE OFF YOUR HAT !

Love for God and this country starts in the home. Generations have stopped training their children in the ways of the Lord, thus the consequences of a lost moral compass. The truth be told the ones with hats left on , or even not standing or holding their hands over their heart was probably out of ignorance. Furthermore, it is not taught in “American” schools!
