“Former President George Bush flips the coin crowd loves it. But when VP Mike Pence was shown on big screen, resounding boos.”
What boos? What were you listening to?
What boos?? Don’t make up the story
Jane: I think we all stopped believing when you said ‘NY Times.’
aka: fake news
Seriously, the New York Times?? There is a honest bunch of journalism..don’t think so!…you were listening to a different crowd then everyone else.
There wasn’t any boos dumb ass
Not true. Fake news‼️
T
THEY WERE CHEERING THE VP PENCE
These liars need to be destroyed and never heard from again what a load of crap lying a**h**led ughhhh get them out now
Although Truthfeed provides important coverage of important stories, this one fails the truth test. From beginning to end, the clip is focused on the reaction of the crowd to the procession of former president, George H. W. Bush, and Barbara Bush, in wheelchairs, as they are escorted across the playing field.
Yes, VP Mike Pence is on camera for about four seconds, visibly and enthusiastically applauding along with the cheering crowd–for the former president, not for himself. Although the crowd may have given the VP an “ovation”,at some point, it is not shown in this 57-second clip, which was mischaracterized the same way on the source site, TheGatewayPundit.
The editor(s) at Truthfeed should view the clip (again) and reconsider the accuracy of the headline and story, lest critics accuse Truthfeed of willfully or carelessly disseminating “fake news”.
Revision of my previous comment: A claim that there was thunderous applause when the stadium screen focused on VP Pence does allow for the possibility that he, as well as the Bushes, was being applauded; but any claim or inference that the acclaim was primarily for him is not a slam-dunk.
Even though the truth regarding this specific situation is “no big deal”, truth itself is, as are caution and care in investigating, confirming and reporting it.
