VIDEO : Spicer Rips “Fake News” Media, Warns Their Lies Will be Exposed

President Donald Trump’s press secretary, Sean Spicer, held a weekend briefing to criticize the media’s coverage of the new commander-in-chief.

Spicer slammed a TIME magazine reporter who “falsely tweeted” that Trump removed a bust of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. from the Oval Office, adding that the reporter’s ensuing clarification that it may have been blocked from his view was “irresponsible and reckless” reporting.

He also criticized media coverage of Trump’s inaugural address, saying the press intentionally framed it in a manner that did not match the “dramatic support” the president received during the campaign.

Spicer called the ceremony the “biggest audience to witness an inauguration, period.”

Taking aim at Senate Democrats who have yet to join their Republican colleagues in voting to confirm Rep. Mike Pompeo (R-Kan.) as CIA director, Spicer called it a “shame” that Trump had to speak before the agency Saturday without a director in place.

Eric Bolling said Spicer’s remarks showed that Trump is “rewriting the script on everything in D.C.; right down to the press briefing,” noting that the spokesman did not take any questions from the media afterward.
