In Miami after attending a Martin Luther King Day event, Marco Rubio commented on the controversy over John Lewis saying of President-elect Donald Trump he didn’t “see the president-elect as a legitimate president” and Trump’s tweeted response.
Rubio said he “hoped” the Trump would have responded differently “given everything that John Lewis means to our country.”

Wow! I voted for you, Rubio, now I am not sure it was best. You need to rally around President elect Trump. Stop picking on him when he did not attack Lewis. Lewis’ comment was disgusting! Why is it that Trump never has the right to defend himself with out total backlash from all sides? Rubio get over it we wanted Trump not you.

Why again is Lumpy Lewis a “civil rights leader”? I’ve never heard of him accomplishing anything other than taking hits to the head. He was just another follower riding MLK’s coat tails.

What exactly has Lewis done for us? The only thing I know about him is the Selma walk across the bridge. Has he written or passed any really good legislation or served as head of any committees. seriously I do not anything about him…Who can tell me something important he accomplished!
