Rush Limbaugh gives a history lesson and reminds voters 2 weeks before Reagan defeated Jimmy Carter in an Epic Landslide in 1980, the polls had Carter ahead by 7.

So El Rushbo has to go back to 1980 to find data to support the false hope that Trump isn’t going to lose by a huge margin? The polling done in 1980 was the dark ages compared to what is being done today. This was before the ability to use computing power in a distributed way –before the mac, before the PC, before Windows… It was before wide access to voter demographics down to the zip code level, it’s just a ridiculous comparison. It’d be like comparing how long it took to get from New York to Chicago by train in 1935 to how long it takes by air today. Factual but clearly an apples to oranges comparison. Not surprising, this is the guy that said fact checking didn’t matter and was an effort by the mainstream media to push Hilary as their favorite–as though facts don’t matter, and if you use facts you are somehow biased. This election is such a shitshow of crazy, racist, ignorant dumbassery I just can’t believe it.
I guess you missed the Wikileaks emails about the media polls being rigged to create the illusion of Hillary being in the lead.
The American press is now considered so untrustworthy that Ghana’s press has a better reputation.
