VIDEO : Newt on Trump’s Speech “BEST Speech of his Career. I’m Blown Away”

Newt Gingrich described it as the best speech of President Trump’s career, saying, “I’m blown away, I mean, better than the inaugural, better than his Gettysburg speech. He was in command, you were watching the President of the United States in a way that I thought was very profound.” He note that as the speech progressed some Democrats even started to loosen up and applaud and stand at some points.

Gingrich agreed with Sean Hannity that there are some left-wing Democrats who are never going to agree with the President. There are also so nuisance Republicans who aren’t on board and may not ever figure out what the President is doing. The topic of nuisance Republicans took him to Speaker Paul Ryan, who he believes has a “very big desire to get very large things done, bigger than what Gingrich did when he was in that position.

Gingrich named massive tax reform, serious immigration reform and a very real effort at profoundly shifting the health care system as goals that would meet that bar.

Gingrich looks at the words used in describing the spending for infrastructure as being $1 trillion worth of spending, noting that this wouldn’t be the first time that Trump comes in under budget on a project. He acknowledged that Reagan was better at delivering a speech, but this presentation by President Trump has what he called, “hammer blow after hammer blow after hammer blow.”

Gingrich describes President Trump as being so different from anything that we’ve ever seen, that he finds himself “every day studying Donald Trump and trying to figure out what is he doing, because he is so much more complicated than I would ever have thought possible.” Hannity injects “in a good way,” for clarification.

Gingrich concurs, “In a good way in the sense of a really smart, senior guy, who has solved problems his whole life,  who has been practical his whole life, who has proven to us with his cabinet, he can recruit a good team. He also note the advantage Trump has in being a man of action, not afraid to make mistakes, that comes with being an entrepreneur.
