President Obama received lukewarm applause from troops in Tampa, Florida during his last nation security speech. Many troops refused to applaud when Obama made this statement: “We should take great pride in the progress we’ve made over the last eight years. No foreign terrorist organization has successfully planned and executed an attack on our homeland.” Obama’s claim is aimed at a more “organized” terror approach like a planned al-Qaeda attack.
