Democrat Louisiana Governor John Bel Edwards appeared on CNN’s State of the Union Sunday and praised Donald Trump and his running mate, Indiana Gov. Mike Pence for their “helpful” visit to his flood-ravaged state on Friday. Donald Trump donated an 18-wheeler full of over $100,000 in relief supplies, this, in addition to assessing the damage and comforting flood victims.
