VIDEO : Law & Order Candidate Donald Trump Calls Cleveland Police to Thank Them For Protection

On Friday, Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump called Cleveland Police Chief Calvin Williams to thank him and his officers for keeping the Republican National Convention safe.

Mr. Trump’s call came while Chief Williams was with bike patrol officers outside the Quicken Loans Arena where the convention was held.

Williams placed Mr. Trump on speaker so the approximately fifty officers could hear him speak.

Afterward, many of the officers were beaming.
