VIDEO : Judge Napolitano on Obama, “He’s Breaking Federal Law With Gun Owners List”
Judge Andrew Napolitano went on Fox News Thursday morning to discuss Obama’s unlawful and uncostitutional “Gun Owner List.”
Judge Napolitano explained that according to federal law the U.S. government may gather statistical information about gun owners for as long as they destroy any personally identifiable information, such as names, date of birth, and addresses.
However, according to Napolitano, Obama isn’t abiding by the federal law.
The judge cited a recent report from the U.S. Government Accountability Office which states the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives did not always comply with the rules.
In short, the government isn’t destroying the information.
“It’s reprehensible, it violates federal law, it violates a Supreme Court opinion, it violates our natural right to self-defense, which is protected by the Second Amendment,” he said.
