Bill Maher is a buffoon but even he, the clown of cable, may have crossed a line when he compared Trump’s sons to Sadam Hussein’s kids, Uday and Qusay.
Maher partially cited a Trump quote from his 2008 book, “Think Big,” which he used as a segue to attack the Trump children.

My point is that Trump supporters are horrified and angry for what B Maher said about Trumps’ sons. And I’m just saying that it was a joke and as such they shouldn’t see it as an attack to the Trumps. Just like the time when Maher said that Trump was the son of an orangutan and said that he will give him $5M to prove him wrong, Trump took it very seriously and took his word for it and they went to court. Maher’s critique afterwards was that he couldn’t see essentially that he was speaking in jest, that it was a joke because he is a comedian. So that’s the point. And I’m addressing it without attacking Trump’s supporters because they are entitled to their opinions. Let’s use constructive criticism and enough with the written attacks coming from both sides. (I’m not voting for him FYI. I was a Bernie supporter).
First, they’re not children. Second, they’ve gone on national tv to talk about how “great” their dad is. So they’re not off limit for open criticism and ridicule.
