VIDEO : High School Kids Stage Mock ASSASSINATION of Trump
A skit portraying the assassination of President-elect Donald Trump by two 10th grade students at Marshall High School provoked anger and dismay from the parents of a student who watched it unfold last week.
Harold and Melinda Bean said that in the skit, entitled “The Assassination of Donald Trump,” one of the boys made a gunfire sound effect with his cell phone as the other boy, portraying Trump, fell to the ground in mock death.
All of the students were required to submit descriptions of their English class presentations beforehand to be approved by their teacher, the parents said, but these two students in particular changed their skit afterward.

Third, yes, it was made news, because it shows that there is something wrong in the moral fiber of our schools and our society when teens would do a skit like this and the teacher and school officials would allow it and not do or say something about it. I think you should be suspended and have to perform 150 hours of community service at a VA hospital or retirement home and receive some counseling. If that type of skit is what you think is okay then get angry because someone told on you then it was made news, you surely have some issues.
I agree with you Paula. This is horrible what they did. They need to have some punishment and to do community service and counceling of some sort along with the teachers.

I think they should have in school suspension; while in ISS they should have to write a 2500 word essay about the political policies of Donald Trump and why he is advocating for MAGA. Then they should have to write about Margaret Sanger, Saul Alinskey, and George Soros.

The school should have you in detention everyday for the rest of the school year. In that detention time you should be forced to learn more about the president elect and what he stands for because your future has been saved because of him! You ARE fifteen and you KNOW better otherwise the assassination skit would have been the one you submitted in preview to your teacher. Time for you to stand up and take responsibility for and accept consequences for your actions. If a child under 10 got suspended over 100 days for having a spent shell casing, then you should be suspended and have to do community service or be expelled.

I don’t think the idea of allowing kids to do a skit about killing any elected official is a good idea, but especially not now, given the riots going on across the nation and the emotionally immature college students that can’t even make it to class.

These kids are my heroes. Their parents must have taught them the right way. It is a school pay and we have freedom of speech.
Since these two 10th grade high school students submitted one skit to their teacher, but changed it and performed a different one, they knew exactly what they were doing!! Plus, they used gunfire as sound effects. It was deliberate and calculated. I bet this would be a completely different conversation if it were a skit about the assassination of Obama!
I like the suggestion that these 2 boys have to write an essay about what Donald Trump stands for and his profession, then an essay on George Soros, Margaret Sanger and Saul Alinskey….and the parents!
