Fox’s Eric Bolling tonight wondered if President Obama‘s hypothetical about him beating Donald Trump was about protecting his personal legacy. In the interview with David Axelrod this week, the president had some words of praise for Clinton, argued there was a double standard in coverage of her and said she “performed wonderfully under really tough circumstances.” But his comments about beating Trump have been viewed as a slight criticism of Clinton and the way her campaign was handled.
