I love our nation’s police officers. This past Saturday, a couple walked into a Pennsylvania Homestead restaurant and upon seeing four police officers seated at a table, they coldly informed the staff that they did not want to sit near “those officers.” The staff seated the couple across the restaurant. Upon hearing the couple’s complaint, the police officers decided to “pay it forward” by picking up their tab. They hoped to show the couple that they’re not out to hurt anyone.
