Great insight and argument for the end of the FILIBUSTER rule. Ending the FILIBUSTER is an idea whose time has come. This is an absolute necessity. Minority rights in the Senate can and will be protected without this outdated horse and buggy rule. The big problem is the small minded obsolete thinking of G.O.P. Senate Majority leader Mitch McConnell. Anybody agreeing with me needs to contact ‘Mitch’.

Democrat Senate Minority leader Chuck Schumer has signaled he is going down the dead end scorched earth ‘Harry Reid’ road… No cooperation and obstructionism on steroids with the new administration is the plan. This means the Republican leadership in the U.S. Senate in order to govern at all and meet the emergencies we face as a nation must finally get rid of the paralizing FILIBUSTER RULE . The end of the filbuster is clearly an idea whose time has come. It is obsolete in this day and age to say the majority cannot rule and that nothing gets done in Congress without 60 Senators agreeing to anything. We simply cannot continue this way Senator Mitch McConnell. Tradition is one thing BUT…It is now an historical, practical and political NECESSITY…..The FILIBUSTER must go!
Implausibly and hyperbolically categorizing Schumer’s placid, albeit snide comments as an “emotional meltdown” is only going to diminish Truthfeed’s credibility and put the site at risk of being branded a source of “fake news”.

Having lived in NY with Schumer as R Senator for more years than I care to remember, I can vouch for the fact that he is an idiot.
It is his way of keeping us informed and he does a much better job than the news agencies we presently have. FDR had his Fireside Chats well President-elect Trump has Twitter and FB to keep us all informed. This guy is one of the lunatics that wants to cause trouble. Instead of being part of the solution… he is a part of the problem.
