If blacks again became empowered by strengthened families and better education and jobs, there would be no use for the Dems and their power would be taken away. The slave trade was originally an East India Company enterprise with a head tax paid to the English monarchy which directed the monopoly. Research shows that at one point, Georgia outlawed the “peculiar institution” and was forced back into the fold by the Crown. The point to be made however is that there were no Democrats, or Republicans for that matter. Slavery was institutionalized under English law and foisted on America long before there was a United States. Now comes the tricky part because the Civil War was fought over economics…not slavery. The date of the Emancipation Proclamation and a bit of reading will show that only slaves held in the South were “freed” well into the War. Slaves held in the North throughout the war, were eventually purchased or co-opted by the Federal Government and sanctified by the Slavery Amendments. Of course the South had chosen not to comply with Lincoln’s edict and those slaves were ultimately taken as spoils of war. Keeping in mind that the Dred Scott decision has never been reversed, the rightful owner of the “property” became the Federal Government. The 14th. says “born or naturalized in the [Federal] AND subject to the jurisdiction thereof…”. Selective Incorporation shows that Civil Rights do not embrace the entire Bill of Rights and proves 2nd. class citizenship. Think about it…unalienaable rights are granted by God and civil rights are granted by civil authority. I’ve deliberately omitted dates but the references are sound so that anyone interested can do their own research. If any of you are interested in why it was done this way and wonder how much more of your text book history is B.S., send a request on facebook.

Slavery was disgusting but America (republicans) lost 600,000 men fighting to end slavery in the Civil War. No other Nation suffered like this for Black people, not even S Africa. So America ended slavery in 1865. Now it’s been 151 years since slaves were freed. American Blacks are more educated, have better living conditions and more luxury items than 99% of the rest of the World Black people. The United States has given Black people more opportunity and freedom than any other Country. While America ended slavery in 1865, places like Sudan, Iran, Qatar, Syria, Egypt, Libya and many Islamic Countries still practice slavery today. If Blacks have it so hard here in the US, then try living in one of the places mentioned.
