VIDEO : Biggest Controversy on the Web – Did They Have to Shoot the Gorilla?
This is the biggest non-political controversy on the Web.
After falling into the gorilla enclosure, a four-year-old boy was dragged through the water by a silverback gorilla. Though the gorilla appeared to be attempting to shelter the boy, eventually authorities killed him.
The Gorilla appeared to be helping the boy – Did the Gorilla deserve to die? Could they have tranquilized it instead or shot it if it became hostile?
Many are blaming the zoo officials for shooting the Gorilla, others joked they should have shot the boy’s mom instead.
Our view? The blame goes both to the parents of the child and to the zoo officials for building an inadequate barrier. I’m sorry but “ANYONE CAN CLIMB IT IF THEY WANT TO” does not cut it.
The barrier separating visitors from the gorilla enclosure exceeded “any required protocols,” Maynard said, adding that while the barrier is over 3 feet high, “anyone” can climb it if they “want to,” comparing it to burglars gaining access to a locked house or car. The child was originally thought to have climbed through the 38-year-old barrier, but upon further inspection, it was determined that he climbed over it, Maynard said.

What a shame that happened. Maybe mom will pay more attention to what her kid is doing. Poor gorilla but with wild animals so unpredictable I suppose they couldn’t do anything else.
As soon as possible its only a animal the little boy is a human being
Is this dales son ?
