Donald Trump did that at a rally in Charlotte, North Carolina.
DONALD TRUMP: As you know, I am not a politician. I have worked in business, creating jobs and rebuilding neighborhoods my entire adult life. I’ve never wanted to learn the language of the insiders, and I’ve never been politically correct – it takes far too much time, and can often make more difficult.
Sometimes, in the heat of debate and speaking on a multitude of issues, you don’t choose the right words or you say the wrong thing. I have done that, and I regret it, particularly where it may have caused personal pain. Too much is at stake for us to be consumed with these issues.
But one thing I can promise you is this: I will always tell you the truth.
I speak the truth for all of you, and for everyone in this country who doesn’t have a voice.

It’s true Trump isn’t perfect, no one is, but when one compares him to Hillary and most of the other politicians he is so much better there really is no comparison., it’s amazing. In my opinion Trump is running for the right reasons and he truly wants to make america great. I am with him all the way.

When I saw who he picked for a VP and heard both Governor Pence and Donald Trump’s speeches, I was hooked! I haven’t experienced such hope in many years! Well said, Bob; I agree completely and only add that this particular speech is arguably the best from Trump’s many speeches so far; it reminds me of Ronald Reagan, who suffered incredible backlash not only from the Democrat Party of his time, but also from the REPUBLICAN ESTABLISHMENT; yep, just like we see now with Donald Trump. Reagan could barely say a word without several people from both parties coming down on him hard, and he also suffered endless lies and defamation from the MSM; they not only said horrible things about him, but also said things about Nancy Reagan that were too embarrassing to repeat. They mocked her clothing style, her hair style, even her weight. Liberals seem able to easily excuse themselves from doing the very thing they bitch and complain about when anyone else does it. Since Mrs Reagan was a CONSERVATIVE WOMAN, she was open to the most heinous attacks. It was deplorable, and QUESS WHAT: BILL AND HILLARY CLINTON WERE RIGHT THERE IN THE FRONT ROW THROWING PROVERBIAL ROTTEN EGGS AT THEM…..and now you will hear Hillary Clinton invoking the name of Ronald Reagan as if she loved and admired him…..only because her dying campaign is on life support, and the only way to save it is to pretend she’s a common-sense, fiscally sound and tempermentally sound candidate…..all of which are bullshit. She can’t hold a candle to either Ronald or Nancy Reagan; THIS TRUMP SPEECH REMINDS ME SO MUCH OF REAGAN; AND IF TRUMP IS ELECTED, I BELIEVE THAT JUST LIKE REAGAN, THERE WILL BE A NOTICABLE DIFFERENCE IN OUR COUNTRY AND ECONOMY IN A VERY SHORT AMOUNT OF TIME.
