Orlando Mayor: 50 Dead in Nightclub Shooting
This is the worst shooting in American history, perpetrated by a Radical Islamic Killer by the name of Omar Mateen.
Mayor Buddy Dyer said 50 people were killed and 53 wounded in the attack at Pulse Orlando, a gay club just south of downtown.
Police Chief John Mina said the tragedy began at 2:02 a.m., when three police officers engaged in a gun battle with a suspect outside the club. A hostage situation then took place inside, and a SWAT team was called in, Mina said. Police received updates from patrons trapped in the club and decided to storm the club at about 5 a.m.

Sunday on NBC’s “Meet The Press,” while commenting on the overnight shooting at a nightclub in Orlando, FL in which approximately 20 people were killed and over 40 were injured and that authorities are investigating as an act of terrorism, host Chuck Todd raised the “gun issue.”
Todd said, “Joy [Reid], that’s the overwhelming feeling I have that is there is this feeling of insecurity. We lack control on terrorism issue . We seem to lack control and moral on the gun issue. We lack cultural norms. There’s just a part of this that feels like a new normal. It’s a an uncomfortable normal.”

Agreed Dusty! If maybe even one or two people inside had been carrying their own gun, this guy would have been taken down before he had a chance to kill over 50 innocent people and terrorize many more!
I agree we need to protect ourselves.. We had that happen in our country when terrorist came into our church and opened fire killing people and one lone cop that had come off duty fired back from the back of the church and they dropped weapons and ran… Had it not been for that one man and his gun many many many more would have died that night..

I believe the front door bouncer was an off-duty police officer that was armed. And he did engage in a gun battle with Mateen. That’s why they believe there was more than one shooter.

Profiling can go the way that “politicians” want, first it will be all felons, already there, then it will be a race or religion, but that’s illegal (they don’t care), then it Wil be anyone who doesn’t conform to their views. Give everyone a gun, force them to take it… Watch gun crimes drop, no more gun free zones(schools, churches, etc.), look up Switzerland (I think it’s them, they give a gun to every adult and train them how to use it) their violent crime rate dropped
I agee! I don’t understand how people can be so blind! The thing that makes this even more infuriating is the double standard. Christians are being persecuted while the people who want to kill us all are are being protected and warmly invited into our country. How long until people realize that the gun didn’t pull it sown trigger! The gun that happened to be there, could have been the same as a cell phone call to ignite a bomb. Should we then ban cell phones, NO. Start teaching people how to be safe with guns and legalize conceal carry through out the country, then you’ll see this kind of stuff settle down. Why does this only happen in states that your not able to carry? Maybe these liberals should ask that question. GUNS ARE NOT THE CAUSE, they are the tool.

I agree with the Mayor. Simply put, there is to much gun control. Disarming Americans when we are blatantly under attack is the act of an enemy of the people of this nation.
Orlando Shooting:: I have been pretty vocal about Islam! Many agree, and many disagree about my stance of the Muslim faith! But after tonight, I think we, the American Patriots for Freedom, will be taken more seriously. This incodent, is, yet another failure of the FBI, our Gov, and our President! Just like our Army, Navy, Marines, and Air Force, is only a small percentage of America, ISIS is Islams ” active” military. the problem is there was only one person with a gun if there had been some with concealed carry then they could have take the scumbag out before he shot 103 people..
