United GOP – Trump Has More GOP Support Than Reagan Did

Despite the nonstop media attacks, and claims that the GOP is in “shambles,” Donald Trump’s slice of the Republican voter pie at this stage of the campaign is in line with past nominees.

Furthermore, Donald Trump has more Republican Party support than Ronald Reagan did in 1980.

In addition, at this point in Reagan’s campaign, he was trailing Jimmy Carter by 7 points.  Currently, Donald Trump trails Hillary by a measly 1.5% in recent national polls.
