TRUMP IS RIGHT : OVER-REGULATION & CRONYISM IS KILLING AMERICAN BUSINESS

It’s a sad day in America when foreign countries like China, Japan, and Mexico dump their goods into our country with hardly a second glance but our small businesses are over-regulated into bankruptcy and failure. 

This is an issue that Trump talks about a lot during his campaign speeches.  He goes into great detail about the over-regulation of American businesses as a result of globalism, crony politics, lobbyists and special interest.

This is why Trump’s message of  “America First” resonates with the masses – because Americans are feeling the federal squeeze and tangle of red tape on Main Street USA, and it’s nearing impossible to stay afloat.

It hit home for me when a Trump supporter shared his personal experience concerning over-regulation.  He owns an e-cig business in Austin, Texas and was recently devastated when the Federal Government slapped his industry with crippling regulations.  He described the utter devastation to the e-cig/vaping industry, where tens of thousands of jobs will be lost due to the complex and costly federal regulations that are being imposed.

Many people hear the word “regulations” and assume that the government is doing their job by protecting us from some invisible boogeyman with their “thoughtful regulations.” However, if you delve a bit deeper you start to see a disturbing pattern unfold.  For example, the regulations imposed on the vaping industry were not a loving “health” gesture from the feds.

Quite the contrary. 

The regulations against the e-cig/vaping community were initiated by theTobacco lobbyists who are fighting on behalf of their clients, who are losing money to the e-cig/vaping industry.  It’s exactly as Trump has described it time and time again. These bought-and-paid-for politicians are owned by the special interest who fund their campaigns and super PACs – and when they need a problem solved they simply call in a favor.  Suddenly the e-cig/vaping industry is crushed so hard with costly regulations that they fold up and go away, leaving big Tobacco back on top.

Problem “solved.”

Donald Trump’s America First platform squashes this political cronyism like a bug.  It places the needs of the American worker and small American business above the wants and desires of the greedy special interest and lobbyists.  This is a “first” of our lifetime – a politician actually working for the American people, not Wall Street.

Can you imagine it?

It’s hard to picture such a selfless act after spending decades electing slimy politicians who do “favors” for their big money donors – heartlessly putting Small Town Joe out of business in order to keep their gravy train of money and favors rolling full steam ahead.

The good news is that we have a chance to make real change in this upcoming election and derail the political gravy train once and for all.
