Trump Owns Chris Cuomo For Lying About Who Passed NAFTA
Donald Trump had a contentious interview yesterday with CNN anchor Chris Cuomo, brother of the Democrat governor of NY, Andrew Cuomo.
After Cuomo failed to congratulate Trump for winning the GOP nomination, the two sparred.
It began with Cuomo making a blatantly false statement “As you know, Clinton did not pass NAFTA. Bush passed NAFTA. So you can criticize it all you want…”
“Oh really?” Trump asked. “Who signed NAFTA?”
“You can criticize NAFTA all you want,” said the CNN host. “I’m just saying you want to keep the history. Bush was involved with NAFTA.”
“Excuse me,” wondered Trump. “Who signed NAFTA? Whose bill was it and who signed it?”
“But what is your point, though?” Cuomo said. “This was in the Bush administration.”
The facts leave no wiggle room here for Cuomo – Bill Clinton signed NAFTA as shown in this video. Trump was right, Chris Cuomo was wrong.
Trump took to twitter and with a Retweet made who was correct in the exchange crystal clear.

Even my late Senator Byrd got up on the floor and gave a speech about how it was going to ruin America and he was right. This was a Clinton bill. This man does not know what he is talking about. Senator Byrd was a Democrat

NAFTA was pushed by Bush BUT, Clinton WANTED it and SIGNED it into law. Ross Perot famously said, “If NAFTA passes you will hear a giant sucking sound south of the border and that will be our jobs being sucked into Mexico.” How right he was.

I have been teaching about NAFTA since BEFORE Bush came into office. I have textbooks and original articles from that time. In all fairness, every President since then has been on board with this treasonous agreement. But make no mistake, this is just another attempt by the Clintons, to rewrite history.
When Hillary was first running against Obama, she said she would repeal NAFTA, the bill her husband signed into law. It has to be out there on the web someplace.
Like her stance on most issues, Hillary has flipped back and forth on NAFTA as well. If it wasn’t so disturbing it would be laughable how often she has changed her beliefs on a wide array of subjects. She is Hillary Chameleon–she changes to adapt to whatever audience she is trying to win over, then claims she has never lied to the American people. I guess she is allowed to constantly change her opinion and where she stands on things, and as long as she believes what she is saying at any given time, it’s not lying.
