TRUMP HAS NO FEAR – OPEN TO TALKS WITH KIM JONG UN
In a recent Reuters interview, Donald Trump said he’d be willing to meet with North Korea in an effort to stop to stop their dangerous nuclear program.
Reuters reported that Trump is willing to talk with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un to put a stop to the Pyongyang’s nuclear program. He spoke to Reuters yesterday and touched on several foriegn policy issues, saying that he disapproved of Russian President Vladimir Putin’s actions in eastern Ukraine, and called for a renegotiation of the Paris climate accord.
Trump told Reuters that he would dismantle most of the disastrous Dodd-Frank financial regulations if he is elected president – a move that would undoubtedly help stimulate the sagging economy.
Trump declined to share details of his plans to deal with North Korea, keeping to his belief that as a nation we’ve been far too conspicuous with our motives. However, he did say that a meeting with Kim Jong Un would mark a shift in U.S. policy toward the rogue nation. “I would speak to him, I would have no problem speaking to him,” Trump said. “At the same time I would put a lot of pressure on China because economically we have tremendous power over China.”
