The woman who has almost single-handily destroyed Europe is now chiming in on American foreign policy.
German Chancellor Angela Merkel implicitly criticized President Trump’s fiery comments on North Korea, and called for the crisis over Pyongyang’s missile program to be resolved through diplomacy.
When asked at a press conference in Berlin whether Germany would “stand by the U.S. in case of war,” Merkel did not respond directly but said: “I consider an escalation of rhetoric the wrong answer.”
“I do not see a military solution to this conflict,” she added.
Instead, the chancellor suggested that the crisis should be resolved through the United Nations Security Council and cooperation between the U.S. and regional powers like China, South Korea, and Japan.
What an idiot.
Does she think because her country has no backbone, the rest of us should follow suit?
Well, President Trump doesn’t “roll” that way, and his non-response to Merkel’s ridiculous statement was perfect.
“Maybe she’s speaking for Germany, let her speak for Germany … She’s certainly not referring to the United States, that I can tell you,” he said when reporters asked for his reaction.
We love it!
