The Washington Post reports that Trump will meet with the former secretary of state on Wednesday, as Trump looks to shape and mold his foreign policy and expand on his already vast understanding of world events.

Trump’s meeting with Kissinger underscores his readiness to build relationships with GOP “dignitaries” and highlights Trump’s willingness to include a realist view of international affairs, which has long been the backbone of Kissinger’s work.
