Trump Beats Obama’s Record, Raises $90 Million for Inauguration
President-elect Trump’s inaugural committee has raised the most money ever for a commander in chief’s inauguration festivities. Trump’s team pulled in $90 million for next week’s events in Washington, D.C.
President Obama raised $55 million in 2009 and $43 million in 2013.
Trump’s team listed $1 million from Boeing and $500,000 from Chevron – the first of whom is talking with Trump about the cost of a new Air Force One following angry tweets from Trump about the high cost. The inauguration committee must disclose all donors within 90 days of the Jan. 20 ceremony.
One million people are expected to visit D.C. for the festivities, including 200,000 protesters for the Women’s March. Obama saw 1.8 million people come to town for his 2009 inauguration.
Trump spokesman Boris Epshteyn told the Associated Press unspent funds will be given to charitable groups.

In 2009 Americans were excited for the prospect of what our first black President could bring us! By middle of 2009 it was evident that we had made a terrible mistake!! Mistake #2 was nominating a GOP Rino like McCain. In 2008 57% of whites voted Obama and of course he would have a very large crowd on inauguration day. Thank God for DJT!!! I will not miss being talked down to by Barack
Keep him safe – he is our only hope – if the elite and powerfully corrupt do anything to harm him they will feel the wrath of a nation and the revelation will truly begin.
