Last August, 3-year-old Andrew Ten arrived with his parents in New York City so he could receive urgent medical attention. The family was accompanied by three nurses who looked after the boy around the clock due to his critical illness. The group was not able to fly on a commercial airlines due to federal regulations because Andrew had to have an oxygen tank, suction machine, breathing bag and adrenaline syringe with him at all times.
