The Updated Delegate Count After Trump’s Tuesday Triumph

With some delegates yet to be confirmed from Tuesday’s primaries, Donald Trump has racked up at least 950 Delegates bound to him on the first ballot. After Tuesday’s wipeout, Trump holds a massive 390 delegate lead over Cruz, who has only 560. Kasich lags far behind at 153, which is still even less than Marco Rubio, who dropped out weeks ago after his Florida home state loss.

How large is Trump’s Lead? If you combine Cruz, Kasich and Rubio’s Delegates all together, you still only get 884, 66 less than Trump.

This current delegate count also does not fully take into the extent of Trump’s dominance. In Pennsylvania, Team Trump finally played the delegate game and are in good shape to have 33 unbound delegates in Trump’s corner.  All signs point to Indiana being the Never Trump forces last stand.
