The UCLA Killer Has Been Identified … So Why Did the Media Call Him a “White Male?”
The man that carried out a murder-suicide at UCLA has been identified as Malinak Sarkar, 38.
Right after the deadly shooting at UCLA yesterday, both the Mainstream media and the UCLA school newspaper described the suspect as a “six foot tall white male.”
This turned out to be completely false. Malinak is of Indian descent and conflicting reports state he is either a Muslim or practiced the Hindi religion.
Everipedia reports
Sarkar was confirmed by law enforcement on June 2nd, 2016 to be the killer of William Klug during the UCLA Shooting. Sarkar used a 9 millimeter pistol to shoot the professor and then himself. Sarkar wrote a blog article describing his hatred of Klug. The blog article was deleted but Google cached it and it was thus retrievable.
Sarkar also killed his ex-girlfriend Ashley Hasti in Minnesota leading up to the UCLA Shooting. They had broken up and had stopped being friends on Facebook, indicating strife. It is then believed Sarkar immediately moved himself across the country from Minnesota to UCLA to conduct the murder of William Klug before authorities could discover Sarkar’s crimes.
Sarkar had a kill list with three people on it William Klug, Ashley Hasti, and an unknown UCLA professor who was not killed. After the killings, Sarkar had left a note stating his address in Minnesota and to look after his cat.
Police are still looking for his car, described as a 2003 gray Nissan Sentra with Minnesota license plate 720KTW. This is to help investigators retrace Mainak’s steps before the killings in particular, his drive from Minnesota to Los Angeles, California.
