He definitely kept that in mind when he wrote this Christmas message, which, of course, OFFENDED liberals – which makes it even better!

X is the Greek Letter — Chi — for Christ. I expect that you have seen it in churches crossed with an R, meaning CHI-RHO. The other three letters are IOTA, SIGMA, TAU. Early Christians, seeing an X drawn in the sand, would fall before it in joy. Non Christians usually had no idea what it meant. Another secret sign was a simple outline of a fish, ICTHUS, which in Greekmis an acronym for Jesus (Iesous) Christ Son of God Savior. When Christians were persecuted, these signs meant, Welcome, You have come to a safe place.
Please excuse the typos. Also, ICHTHUS is more properly an acrostic than an acronym.
Finally … Rather than offending those whom you consider godless liberals, why would you not offer a message of peace and goodwill, hoping to draw them to Christ? MERRY CHRISTMAS to Ted Nugent and all his friends … God bless us, Everyone.
