The latest new CNN/ORC poll has found Ted Cruz’s reputation has taken a dive after his ass-hatting at the GOP Convention where he was booed out of the arena for not endorsing Trump.
Cruz’s public image among Republicans dropped some 50 percent from his image pre-convention.
That’s what you get for helping Hillary Clinton and being a disgrace to the republican party.

Ok I’m looking at the actual poll/report and not seeing where you’re getting these numbers.
Trump’s unfavorables are still high after the convention too, nearly as high as Cruz’s. And the poll is of registered voters, not republicans. And it went from 48% negative to 57% negative, not what you say here.
After the convention 45% of Republicans still prefer someone other than Trump as the nominee.
There is one section for Republicans , and that was one of the two questions in it – whether they want Trump or someone else. And whether or not they think the party is or will be united. Those were the questions aimed at Republicans. The rest were aimed at the general population of registered voters.
Ted Cruz is a hero and more of a statesman than most anyone out there.
Vichy Republicans and abject supporters of classic 1930’s liberal fascists may boo the Constitution and conscience all they like. As for me, I’ll keep choosing Ted because when the chance comes for him to disappoint me, he never has. Trump is a disappointment every time he opens his angry maw.
Let us recall that Cruz also took an oath to his wife and an oath to the Constitution long before the pledge, and that if the pledge conflicted with those the problem isn’t Cruz. Indeed, the fact that the article refers to anything Cruz does as “ass-hatting” in the age of Donald Trump is quite singular, to say the least.
