Ted Cruz’s political career died Wednesday night at the GOP convention when he selfishly took to the stage to speak without endorsing his party’s nominee, and only mentioning Mr. Trump’s name once at the beginning of the speech.
By the end of his speech, where he reiterated all of Donald Trump’s conservative policies, the crowd was so disgusted that they booed him off the stage.

He spoke at the convention for Donald Trump and heralded all of the reasons why we must keep Hillary away from the White House. Come on people, he spoke brilliantly , give the man a break!
I cannot give Ted Cruz a break. He was given an opportunity to come back in and be a part of the party. He failed miserably. He pledged to support the nominee, and now he has broken that promise. I want him to step up and honor his pledge and announce that in November he will vote for Republicans. He said ‘vote your conscience up and down the ticket.” That is not he should have done with this opportunity to help unite the party against Hillary. He cooked his own goose.

Raphael Cruz keeps on lying. Today he said that he is still hurting by the things Trump said about his wife. That’s bs. Lying Ted has done terrible things to his wife like, as I understand, having Madam ‘ s (hookers) phone #s on speed dial. He had extramarital dates set up for every “business” trip he made before he ever left his office. Lying Ted drove his wife to be an alcoholic. He had done a lot of hurtful things to his own wife. Fool could have endorsed Trump. Then when Trump decided to return to the private sector Cruz could have str9olled into White House. Tonight he just handed the GOP nomination after Trump to Pence. Cruz will be lucky if he is able to hold on to his senate seat.
Cruz could have been in the White House as early as 2020 if Trump decided to serve a single term. If Clinton were to win it could be anywhere between 8-12 years before he can make another serious run for the office.

I feel the same way. I haven’t liked that smirky grim from the first speech he gave. How can he be taken seriously when he is so full of himself, and can’t help grinning and almost chuckling when he is applauded? He may be saying all the right things, but that grin at each pause takes away any credibility he may have had,, for me anyway.

It is clear, that Ted Cruz has no love for Donald Trump, and even though the GOP gave him time to speak at the GOP convention and to support the GOP candidate. Cruz took the time to talk about his family and how important it is to vote in November, and then throughout his entire speech, avoided speaking or mentioning the Republican presidential candidate. Cruz is definitely not a team player. Just like Nancy indicated above, Cruz has his own agenda and issues about Mr. Trump. He is obviously still unhappy and disgruntled over losing the primary. I believe the audience took what Cruz said out of context and no, was not a Cruz supporter, have been a Trump supporter since day one.
If people listened to what he said, it was actually more for voting for the governors, congressmen, senators, and local governments, that have open seats and to the people watching who are undecided, on the fence, between Trump and Hillary.

I listened to some dumb*** right wing talk show host last night talk about how Ted Cruz was entitled to defend the vicious attack on his wife, and that is what Regan would have done if Nancy’s had been attacked like Heidi was. I was dumbfounded. Does no one remember that a “nude” picture of Melania was posted by the Cruz campaign staff? Can you image how embarrased her ten year old son was. Heidi Cruz’s picture was in response to that…it was not an unprovoked attack by Trump. Milania was (and is) a beautiful woman, but the picture was taken years ago when she was a (very successful) model. But the Cruz campaign posted that picture to humiliate her and to embarrass her husband. If you can’t stand the heat, don’t go in the kitchen.
