I agree with Susan. That’s the first thing that caught my eye as I read this headline. Selling someone down the river is a common enough phrase and has been around for a long time. Now, if Amy had said they were “sailing” down the river of denial” she’d be correct. People should take these comments as constructive criticism so they can avoid making the same mistake again.

While I appreciate the information, proper English helps when it comes to credibility, and there are two glaring (i.e., fingers on the chalkboard level) errors in the first sentence of the article. If you can’t spot them, you need help from someone who can.
Hints:
“sell” not “sail” as in “sell down the river: to betray the faith of”
“rap” not “wrap” as in “rap sheet: a police arrest record especially for an individual”
