Shocking : Turkish Newspaper Headline, “50 Perverts Killed In Bar”

Freedom of the press is controlled by the government in Turkey, so this paper obviously speaks for the government when they wrote,“Death toll rises to 50 in bar where perverted homosexuals go!”

The “Yeni Akit” is a Turkish newspaper strongly tied to Turkey’s President, Recep Tayyip Erdogan and his party, the AKP. The paper is known for hate speech against LGBT, Christians, Armenians, and Jewish people.  

The President of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdogan has been described as Obama’s “most trusted foreign ally.”

During a nuclear security summit held in the US back in March, Erdogan said in an interview with CNN on March 30, “I expect an official declaration that Islamophobia is a crime.”

In addition, on April 2, Erdogan was the keynote speaker at the grand opening of a brand new $110 million mosque in Maryland – described as the largest Islamic campus “in the Western Hemisphere”.

This is yet another example of so-called “moderate Muslim” countries perpetuating hate against gays, women, and anyone who does not believe the same way they do. This is why Donald Trump has called for a temporary ban on Muslim refugees coming into our country.
