Sheriff Clarke Points out a GLARING LIBERAL “FREE SPEECH DOUBLE STANDARD” in Sports
The recent Colin Kaepernick controversy, where he refused to stand for the National Anthem, claiming he couldn’t support a country that “oppressed black people,” has ignited a firestorm of controversy.
As rumor swirl that Kaepernick is about to be released from the 49’ers for his crappy performance, many argue that his “National Anthem” protest was just a stunt designed to divert attention from his poor performance and give him a better “excuse” for being released.
Now, he can cry “racism” instead of admitting I’m a “crappy player.”
However, the conversation of First Amendment in sports has been discussed at length, with many defending Kaepernick’s right to sit out the National Anthem.
That may be true, however, Sheriff Clarke points out the hypocrisy and “cherry picking” that the liberals almost always implore in matters such as these.
Liberals love to promote and support anything that politically advances their agenda.
If it does not advance their agenda, they either dismiss it or label it “racist,” or “wrong.”
Where was the OUTRAGE for Hope’s First Amendment rights?

The issue is not his right to free speech. The issue is people pay to see the 49ers play. Not to watch someone who uses his position as an athlete to express his politics. He is a role model to young Americans. I personally would want a refund for being subjected to this type of behavior. Go spread your message on your own political platform. I think if the NFL thinks you have a right to free speech for personal opinions about your politics. They have departed from the purpse of National Football League. Which begins with the National Anthem.
