Sheriff Clarke DESTROYS Megyn Kelly With FACTS on CRIME
Megyn Kelly has been known to fly “fast and loose” with facts, as we all witnessed during the first GOP primary debate.
Her inability to remove her emotion and agenda from a story is one of the main reasons her ratings have tanked and she’s gone from Fox “golden girl” to “dud” in less than a year.
On a recent show, Kelly claimed that “black drivers are afraid of being shot if pulled over by police.”
Sheriff David Clarke begged to differ and destroyed Kelly with FACTS.

This is so true. Megyn Kelly can’t keep her emotions under control. She lost my respect after the way she hosted the Primary Debates. Also she treated Mike Huckabee terrible one night on her show. He was so gracious but she just kept pouring on her stupidity. Way to go Sheriff Clarke!!
What’s really sad is that a few years ago before the requisite FNC “blonding” she was a good reporter and the best thing to happen to Fox in ages. She was incisive and usually presented arguments from both sides but was never an ignorant devil’s advocate relying on left-wing fairy tales. Now all I see is a sad attempt to court disenfranchised CNN viewers by throwing them a few liberal bones.

You do realize that being “afraid” of something in no way Implies that it’s a reasonable fear. The data the sheriff shows points out that the fear would be unfounded. But may exist anyway. I fear being killed by poisonous spiders. Likely not gonna happen. But a real fear.

Kelly was talking about friends of hers that have told her they are afraid. I agree with Gary, the sheriff said nothing to disapprove that people are afraid. I find Ms. Kelly’s show to be fair to both sides. She brings guests from across party lines together to discuss the issues of the day. It’s articles like this one that rally people against someone or something without truth that are tearing people further apart! Ug.

I would disagree, as she has allowed her emotions to rule her interviews. I watched her be extremely rude to Gov. Huckabee one evening. There is a way to disagree without being condescending, and arrogant. First off she is suppose to be a journalist (maybe) I understand the need to bring guest back on track, but Kelly has become like a dictator . I use to never miss her show, but not now , as it’s just plain had to watch, so why put yourself through that hour.

I’m black…I worry about being pulled over. Not just the ticket or harassment but violence at the hands of the police.
The only people who fear getting pulled over are the criminals or people who are commiting a crime so you must fall into this category.

Your emotional response does not reflect all black individuals opinions. .cleaning up and clearing out our neighborhoods of criminals and crime will take mature individuals willing to work hard with more constructive solutions than supporting more violence and hate language. I was born into a loving family and even though my parent’s income was not high we each were taught we could accomplish sone of our goals if we worked for it. Regardless of color. .education helps all of us understand the issues from both sides and the will to make things better for the next generation should be the focus.

I am white, a former SFPD officer and I think Megyn Kelly is great. She’s knowledgeable, intelligent, friendly. She in my opinion is as good if not better than Oreilly. Who gives a damn if someone misquotes something as long as it isn’t an ongoing problem. Sheriff Clarke I have great respect for him his intelligence and position. I wish I could have worked for him, however I started law enforcement 1969, Supervisors were still drinking, sleeping in vehicles, actually some autos had no heaters & I believe we’re stick shifts. She was quoting the other side and asking him a question. He answered and it moved on. There was no “gotcha”. The Sheriff certainly doesn’t feel this way about Megyn. There was a time when there was very little risk of a police officer being shot for for making a traffic stop. There were no drug gangs or drug dealers, in that time. There were no rich and powerful cartels on our Southern border, in that time. When a crime was committed, people weren’t afraid to call the police. Do you know when that was? It was before the War on Drugs. Now, I am not a proponent of drug use, but a simple analysis of our situation now versus then should make it clear that this Federal effort has been the most destructive program ever. When it started, the “problem” was hippies smoking pot, acting goofy, laughing and dancing. C’mon! We have extreme levels of violence and death and we have so many more and so much more dangerous drugs. We have tasked the police with being our keepers as well as our protectors. There should not be one dead police officer in an effort to stop dumb people from doing dumb things to themselves.
