Sheriff Clarke Calls out the North Carolina Officials who Mocked him When he Offered Advice on Riots
Sheriff David Clarke of Milwaukee knows a thing or two about law enforcement – and even more so about riots.
Recently in Milwaukee, there were riots due to yet another grossly politicized “Blak Lives Matter” incident.
However, Clarke wasted no time reading the National Guard, keeping them on “standby” in case they were needed and the riots got out of hand and destroyed the entire city.
He offered that same advice to the Charlotte Police Chief, Mayor, and County exec. and was ridiculed for suggesting the National Guard be placed on “standby.”
Turns out he was right.
As the city burned for a second night in a row, officials finally conceded and called in the National Guard – however, they had to wait while the guard assembled, which allowed for more damage and violence.
Sherriff Clarke responded.
I got ridiculed by police chief, mayor and county exec for calling the guard on standby early. They aren't Minutemen. Need time to assemble.

This is what happens when liberal officials allow politics to get in the way of common sense and safety.
