Senator Ted Cruz Tweets Beautiful Photo of His Daughters With President Trump
Ted Cruz and Donald Trump started off as “friends” during the 2015/2016 GOP presidential primary.
Things turned ugly as the campaign heated up, and by the end, Cruz and Trump were fiery adversaries.
It’s been a bumpy road, as Cruz comes to terms with the fact that he lost fair and square to the savvy and vigorous Trump, but now, it appears that the two men are once again on friendly terms.
Senator Ted Cruz tweeted out a sweet picture of President Tump with the Cruz girls.
Cruz wrote, “Our family had dinner w the President & First Lady, who were warm & gracious. Catherine brought Joe–her kindergarten class stuffed giraffe!”

What a story will that giraffe to tell at school tomorrow. Love that even through politics, people are people and they can work out there differences.

So glad to see this picture. I was a Cruz supporter (even donated to his senate campaign and I’m an Ohioan) before I switched to Trump.
I’m so happy to see you are friends again. You struck it off so well in the beginning. Campaigns are brutal and it’s hard to see it ruin friendships. This is the first time in all my many years of voting that I have felt hostility from a friend over my voting preference. I’m hopeful to see the results of your labor.
