Senator Ted Cruz Releases Statement on Obama’s Betrayal of Israel

The United States on Friday allowed a UN Security Council resolution condemning Israeli settlement construction to be adopted, defying extraordinary pressure from Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s government in alliance with President-elect Donald Trump.
It was the final “F YOU” to Israel, as Obama exits the scene.
Senator Ted Cruz has released a statement on the matter, calling what Obama did a “betrayal of Israel.”

Why should we support Israel. ? Why should we support a country that spies on us and then sells our secrets to our enemies? Why should we support a country that runs over a US citizen with a bulldozer? Why should we support a country that shoots up an US NAVY vessel flying a large US flag in international waters? Why should we support a country that bribes US congressmen with millions of dollars to stop a treaty that stops Iran from making a nuclear weapon. Why should we support a country gets billions of dollars every year so that they can have a great free healthcare system, also free higher education, when we don’t have them? Why do we need to support a country that is not a democracy, just ask the Palestinians who have their homes bulldozed down to make homes and businesses for Jewish communities.
