Retired 4-Star General Jack Keane Says, “Generals Who Disagree With Obama Are Asked To Leave The Service”
If you disagree with Obama, you’re not welcome in his circle and you certainly are not welcome to continue serving your country according to retired four-star general Jack Keane, who spoke with Brian Kilmeade.
General Keane discussed the disconnect between high-ranking military officers and the Obama administration and the impact of the Iran nuclear deal and why a lack of American leadership has led to Iran’s rise.
He explained that the lack of American leadership has led to Iran, Russia and China flexing their muscles to show our allies in the Arab world that they are the dominant power in the region and we are not as strong as we used to be.

It’s also a fact that a number of our general officers, not all of them but a number of them, were asked to leave before what would normally be accepted as the routine tenure for that particular position, and General Mattis is a case in point who had very strong views on Iran. Most of us agree with those views but I know the administration did not agree with them. General Flynn, who you know very well and had on your show, was an outspoken proponent for understand radical Islam, how dangerous this particular threat was and was trying to communicate that, he was not able to server out his full tenure. So yes, that’s another fact that we can substantiate, that there were generals who did leave earlier than what their tenure would be and the characteristic they all shared together is they did disagree with the administration on various points.

Maybe you don’t remember Obama’s visit to West Point. His reception them was extremely icy. I don’t think theofficers and troops have any respect for him. Obama insists on makung every single decision, no matter how minor. He has ne training in military arts and refuses any advice from the people that do.

Standing in agreement with Mr. Trump and
Mr. Pence that together they will get our country back on track and we will be a strong country once again and our allies will have respect for us again and not look at us Americans as being stupid or weak. I’m looking forward to that under a Trump/Pence administration that our military will be stronger and our veterans will have the care and benefits that they deserve. But without a doubt under a Hillary administration we will have no America left for our grandchildren, great-grandchildren and future generations. At the end of the day we have two choices we can vote for HOPE and CHANGE or we can vote for more of the same destruction and a third term of Obama’s agenda to turn America into a third world country. If any of the generals and admirals on active duty had a shred of integrity and loyalty down the chain of command, they would put country before career and throw their resignations and stars on the Commander-in-Chief’s desk.
But they value their careers and their retirement more than they value this nation and the oath they took to support and defend our Constitution, and it seems immaterial to them what happens to their subordinates in the military they are leaving to them.
It would be foolish to quit. Presidents have only eight years. Hopefully the next president will allow them to do their jobs.
I can’t agree with this. Our military leaders are the best thing we have going for us now. We just have to have a commander in chief who will listen and take their advice because they know what is happening around the world. They don’t fit into Obama’s AGENDA TO DESTROY AMERICA so they are being silenced.

It’s been sad that in America there is very little substantive debate any more. That people gravitate to forums where everyone is of one mind. That can’t be good for or country or our species.
There is a chain of command. 4 star generals are not at the top of that chain of command. Above them are civilians. That includes the respective service secretaries like the secretary of the Navy the secretary of the army and the secretary of the Air Force. Above them is the secretary of Defense. And at the top of the chain of command is the president of the United States. Abraham Lincoln said that A house divided between itself cannot stand. Servicemen, including generals, who do not want to support the president in he is position as Commander in Chief should tender his resignation or have his Duty status changed to retired. Of course as a four star he could be called back to active duty at any time.
I think it was Jesus that said “a house divided by itself can not stand.”
The Service Secretaries are not in the chain of command, neither is the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff nor the Service Chiefs that make up the JCS. The chain of command goes from the President, to the SecDef, to the Combatant Commanders, then on down to various units and task forces. The Service Chiefs and Secretaries are responsible for providing the trained and equiped forces specified in variuos TPFDLs (Time Phased Force Deployment Lists) to the various CoComs as specified in various OPLANS and Contingency Orders. Yes, we have civilian control over the Military, and I am glad we do, but there are in reality only two civilians in the chain of command.
Uh, isn’t that the way it is supposed to be? Remember from your history books that President Truman relieved General Douglas MacArthur for disagreeing with him. The military must always be subject to civilian control.
You are absolutely correct, Dan, but most of the folks on this forum know nothing about our nation’s history or about the Constitution, other than the Second Amendment, which they twist to suit their own purposes.
Hillary and Obama are one and the same. She worked with him for 8 years. How can anyone with a brain relieve him with her? This country has been going to hell in a hand basket for years.
