Pope Francis Says ISIS is Not Waging “Religious” War, ISIS Responds, “Yes We Are!”
Pope Francis, like Obama and many on the left, are desperately attempting to “downplay” what ISIS is doing.
They’re trying to paint them to be a group of ragtag “JV’ers” who have no real purpose or direction.
That’s exactly what Pope Francis tried to convey when he said that ISIS was not “waging a religious war.”
Of course they are…..
ISIS responded and said, “of course we are….”

The Islamic State has publicly responded to statements by Pope Francis that the war waged by the Islamic terrorists is not religious in nature. The article answers the pontiff that their only motivation is religious and approved by Allah in the Qur’an.

I find it difficult to comprehend that an educated man, whose profession is the leadership of a huge segment of the
Christian world, speaks as if he has never read the Qu’ran. If he truly believes that Islam is a religion of peace he has to discount the numerous other references in the Qu’ran urging muslims to destroy members of other religions. I have read the Qu’ran in translation from the arabic by an Egyptian attorney and I understand why it is that muslims have attempted to destroy peoples of other religions. They have killed not only Christians and Jews, but also Hindus and
Buddists because they have been so commanded by their holy book, the Qu’ran. Peace is, perhaps, urged among muslims. However, they seem to be incapable of that as well, as evidenced by the bloody conflicts that have taken place between the Sunni and the Shia. Had a heated discussion with a muslim who told me that Christ never died on the cross. That he got someone else to take his place so he could show up alive 3 days later. He was aware that the sacraments, remind Christians of Christ’s sacrifice, and that they are the root, the core of our salvation. It seems that Islam, if this is the general idea that the Imams are teaching, is trying to take our salvation from us. Reading the Qu’ran, salvation or Paradise for them is earned by dying in Jihad, in the act of killing people of other religions. Paradise is 72 virgins. Here again muslim women appear to be left out of Paradise. Unless they are the 72 virgins and as we all know virginity lasts only one night! And then out they go! Once again, the Pope’s comments on Islam seem to come from a very uneducated basis. The only other way to figure why he would say what it is he’s saying is to believe he’s lying!!!

Sorry, but your Papacy isn’t infallible. They’re quite hypocritical. But since they haven’t had a crusade in ages, we’re generally more forgiving of Catholicism’s similar history of forcing unbelievers to convert, on paint of death.
Dear “Hansel” Your lack of knowledge and bigotry against Christians is showing. The Crusades were fought because Islam had all out war against Christians for 400 years. Btw Christianity springs forth from Bethlehem of Judea so we felt we should fight for access to our holy sites including Jerusalem, just like today’s Jews want unfettered access to the Temple Mount without being harassed by Islam. Simply put Christians of Europe got tired of Islamic terror. Go to http://www.jihadwatch.org learn something new. You say you are forgiving… I see nothing of the sort from your comments. Don’t forget how the pope got there. How the other pope was ushered out and this one in. This pope has an agenda, and it aligns perfectly with the cover ups of the western world. Although religious, I’m well aware of the corruption in the Vatican, and gods true word no longer holds true..like chinese whispers, the central message has been lost over the years. In australia, we are taught not to discriminate against others. The biggest country with the most races all crammed into one place. It used to be nice to live here, but now tensions are rising. Schools and local councils are deleting laws that were based on christianity so it doesn’t offend others. We’re not allowed to hang christmas lights anymore. In Islamic schools (in australia), if you show any skin at all as a female, you can lose your job. This country used to be free, and it was our constitution that others had to accept. The agreement of becoming an Australian citizen is it’s our way of life, not yours. It’s our laws, not yours. If you don’t like our laws and our way of life offends you…no offence, but go back to the country where you’re not offending anyone instead of trying to get the other 95% of the population to comply with your backwards religion. Stay in iran\pakistan or wherever and fight each other..because seriously, we don’t give a shit how many so called “attacks in the name of Allah” you do, you’ll never take our independence, our spirit and zest for our way of life. You’ll never convert us, you’ll never beat us, and you’ll never wear us down. The countries of this world are biding their time on how to retaliate, and when they do, it will be with force, and it will be devastating, bordering on mass genocide. The concentration camps and mistreatment of the Jews in WW2 will be nothing compared to what will happen when the retaliation starts. But hey..I’m just making a prediction or presumption here…because do you really think the whole world is going to sit on their arse and do nothing indefinitely ? Sure.
