Chris Suprun is the anti-Trump Texas elector who stated he will go against the will of the people and NOT vote for Donald Trump.
On Tuesday a petition was created to remove Mr. Suprun from the Texas Electoral College.
From the petition:
Chris Suprun has stated on Twitter that he refuses to cast his electoral ballot in a manor as those in his precinct have requested, we also ask that he be removed as a GOP member and/or delegate.
This petition will be delivered to:
Texas Governor
Senator Ted Cruz

throw the bum out.
turn OFF auto-correct before you submit article and proof read your stuff
Would it be easier to just do that the liberals do? Barge his phone, family and home with death treats, have a hoard of people go to his home on the day of the vote and block him from leaving, or burn his car and/or home down and spray paint nazi swastikas and Obama-lover on his house?
In the name of love too of course..
The problem is you’d have to pay for all
of that on your own. I doubt George Soros would pick up the tab like usual.
We, Republicans get up a petition to remove a lying, smug, arrogant traitor, who has decided that his view should overthrow 4.7 million votes.
The Left, the group he thinks so deserving, is threatening to shoot ANY electors who do not switch and vote for Clinton, even though their states went for Trump.
There are always huge moral differences in Republicans and Democrats – and Suprun is a closet Liberal…
Not To Worry…Chris! I Bet A Man Of Your Caliber…Could Find A Job At CNN…
Wouldn’t you have to be a Texas Resident to make the Signature on the Petition worth anything?
it affects the vote nationally and electoral vote is national That’s my logic not necessarily so
Replace him.
We voted he leGallup has to vote as the people votef. Never heard of such a thing in all of election history
Remove him he does not represent Texas voters
where is a Gab.ai link for sharing?
If he cannot perform the job with which he has been tasked, remove him and replace him with someone who can do the job.
Remove him at once!
It’s your duty to honor the people’s choice, you took an oath!! Please remove him
Please remove him
He’s a traitor
Welcome to the Electoral College. In Texas, an Elector has a legal right to vote as they see fit and are not forced to vote according to party lines or majority will. You can’t simultaneously endorse a system that puts a person who lost the popular vote into office, while also condemning that system.
You want to retroactively get rid of the Electoral process for 2016? That means nationwide popular vote is rule. What do you think happens then?
It would be legal if he didn’t do it fraudulently. He is a Republican elector. When according to everyone who reads his Twitter he’s a liberal democrat.
If he told the truth he would be a Democrat elector.
I do not condem the system, and Lincoln lost the popular vote and won the COllege.
However, nor should any intellectually honest person go after the college when people voted fairly, in a current election, under that system, for the office of the president.
And despite the on-going liberal lies, Bush won the popular vote in Florida.
Scalia even mentioned in when discussing the decision, later.
The New York Times, so sure the criminal Gore had been elected, organized a recount of the vote. And, guess what? Bush won.
A petition to remove him should’ve begun immediately he declared he would be faithless to the state’s electoral college.
He’s not a Texan. Is he from New York ?
Can he be replaced? One way is to bar him from entry into the Capitol building in Austin so that he cannot appear at the designated time (2 pm) for the electors to convene, thereby creating a ‘vacancy’ where another person can be selected by majority vote of the remaining electors
This is amazing. Let’s show up and park all around him so he cannot go.
That is a great idea. With mobs of people, the liar would be unable to get into the building. Bet law enforcement would only be luke-warm about helping him.
Suprun’s arrogance and hubris continues to astonish me.
Remove Him
Should be immediately removed and replaced with someone that will vote the will of the great state of Texas.
He should be removed forthwith faithless =betrayal of the voter he represents
My concern is, is he the only one? I’ve read different sources saying there are more than one elector that do not want to vote for Trump.
He’s a traitor to the Republican party!!!
He’s a traitor to the Republican party!!!!
It is taken care of. I told the local liberal demonstrators to take their torches, axes, baseball bats and all and head down to this man’s house. Of course a liquored up group of young people late a night with weapons won’t result in any damage right?
I am going to trust God, everyone just knew Killary was going to win, then God stepped in. What God has ordained, I am not fearing this man stopping.
I vote to remove Christopher Suprun.
Remove his SORRY ASS
Hide your family sir get ready to loss everything you’ve worked for because when you turn your back against 64,000,000 Americans your going to have a really big problem with safety there just not enough law enforcement to protect you and your family if I was you I would really think about the check you mouth is writing that your frail little body cannot cash !!
He tweeted that Trump may not have the electors he thinks he has. He said there were as many as 20 that would go along with him. He couldn’t have been more wrong. Only he and a buddy failed to vote for Trump as they pledged. (Presumably, as Texas’ ballots are anonymous) Two is less than twenty, but I guess someone who fakes being a 9-11 responder doesn’t do math well, either.
The campaign to encourage electors to violate their pledges was more effective for Hillary’s electors – 5 of them didn’t vote for Hillary as pledged, and some more tried to but were prevented.
