Pelosi Says Carson, Raised in Detroit Public Housing, is “Disturbingly Unqualified” to be HUD Secretary
The same woman who told us all we had to pass Obamacare to see what’s in it, is now attacking Dr. Ben Carson, Donald Trump’s HUD Secretary nominee as “unqualified.”
Pelosi called Carson, a retired Pediatric Neurosurgery from Johns Hopkins, “disturbingly unqualified” for the job.
Ben Carson is a black man who was raised in Detroit’s public housing.
He has been speaking passionately, and from personal experience on improving inner cities for a long time.
Also, it doesn’t take a “brain surgeon” (excuse the pun) to realize that we need sweeping changes in the HUD department, not the same old “do-nothing” agenda we’ve had for the past eight or more years.

Dr. Carson is a brilliant brain surgeon who figured out how to successfully separate twins who were joined at the brain. He has been a problem-solver his entire life, and in addition to his work as a brain surgeon, he was in charge of the pediatric neurosurgery department at Johns Hopkins hospital. He is an excellent choice for the position at HUD. To say he is not capable is ridiculous.

What she said was, with respect to ObamaScare, is ‘We have to pass the bill so that you can find out what is in it.” That said, you can paraphrase, but you cannot use quotation marks around something that a person did not actually say. I have to believe that Ben Carson certainly couldn’t do a worse job than anyone else who’s held this position. As long as he’s fair and gives support to those who truly need it. From my experience there are a whole lot of people living on government money who are able-bodied and capable of working for a living. Sorry but government handouts are a sore subject with me. I’ve worked and supported myself since the age of 16. People using food stamps while talking on their iPhones and sitting home all day while I work to pay for their free housing that they trash, and young girls having babies because they’ll get a bigger check from the government pretty much ticks me off.
Amy, I used to manage section 8 apartments. I also left my home at 16. You touched an extreme sore spot with me too. I used to work 60 hrs a week and could barely support my daughter. Meanwhile about 70% of the people on Section 8 were beyond capable of working. When they had inspections, I kid you not, they would open the door and a cloud of Marijuana would come rolling out and it use to make me sick to my stomach. Also they would treat me and the staff like trash. Not all but like I said well over 1/2 of them. I’m not targeting blacks btw… it was black, Hispanic and whites… they couldn’t work but they were eating steak, had their hair and nails done and most had better furniture and cars then me. It was sad and so infuriating.

If anyone is unfit for office it is her .Dr. Carson has more brains in his little finger and more common sense than she will ever have. Her record shows that she hasn’t ever looked out for the good of the people or the good of the party. She is the last person on earth that should say some one is unfit to hold an office and make things better for the common working class and the poor.

I think Pelosi’s a secret agent planted by the republican party to reinforce the public perception that democrats are out of touch with the American people (except American donors).
