Paul Ryan Finally Does Something Right – Announces Republicans will Hold Hearings on FBI’s Decision

Republicans will hold hearings to learn more about the FBI’s decision to not recommend criminal charges for presumptive Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton, Speaker Paul Ryan(R-Wis.) said Tuesday night.
“People have been convicted for far less,” Ryan said during an interview with Megyn Kelly on Fox News’s “The Kelly File,” saying that he thought FBI director James Comey “was going to recommend prosecution” based on the FBI director’s opening remarks in a press conference Tuesday.
Ryan said the FBI’s decision not to recommend charges “underscores the belief that the Clintons live above the law.”
Comey said that while there was evidence Clinton and her staff was “extremely careless” with classified information, “no reasonable prosecutor” would bring a case against her in relation to her use of a private email server while secretary of state.
“We’re going to have hearings,” Ryan said on Fox, mentioning House Oversight and Government Reform Chairman Jason Chaffetz (R-Utah). Chaffetz indicated hours earlier on Fox that he was considering calling Comey to Capitol Hill to testify about the FBI’s probe and conclusion not to recommend charges.
Ryan said Clinton “clearly lives above the law,” saying Comey has ”shredded” Clinton’s defense of her email practices while serving as secretary of State. Ryan described Clinton as grossly negligent.
Ryan said the FBI should release its findings regarding the Clinton email investigation.
He also called for the director of National Intelligence to “block” Clinton from accessing classified information as a presidential candidate, given her handling of government secrets over her private email server.
“I don’t think she should get classified information,” Ryan said.
Republicans expressed anger and disbelief over the decision not to pursue criminal charges, with GOP presidential candidate Donald Trump blasting a “rigged” system.
Ryan said Chaffetz would be calling up Comey to ask questions.
“He didn’t [answer] any questions with the press,” Ryan said of Comey’s remarks earlier Tuesday in Washington. “There are a lot of unanswered questions here, Megyn, that need to get answers to,” Ryan said.
Ryan said the FBI “should give us all of their findings” in the Clinton investigation.
If they are like the hearings on Benghazi it will be a huge waste of taxpayer money to tell us what we already know.

hEr learned far more during the FBI investigation. For instance that Hillary did have a private server and her emails were not going through the state’s system. The whole reason why many liberals finally have to admit Hillary is a terrible choice for President. She has lied to the American people not only about Bengazie, the video, her classified email swaping and generally being dishonest over tg e last thirty years. There us no doubt about her history especially for me. Didn’t do the emails with intent? The intent was to have have control over her communications and who had access to them. Why? Because then she would get busted on her foreign government game of trading favors for Clinton Foundation “donations”. That was the intent and to hell with “classified” information. I heard the breaking news done by the fbi director it had me first thinking wow they are going press charges but NO they didn’t they said they wouldn’t, saying other people have done the same well you know Obama did and he knew it. He knew and he was one of who she communicated with so how could they press charges without bringing Obama in to the courts.. Finally Ryan does something right. I agree she should not ever get any access to classified documents due to her lack of understanding on how to handle them for the safety of our nation. Yes. Why shouldn’t the Republican Congress spend millions more dollars and countless more hours of government employees’ time to discover what everyone already knows. I guess the Republicans don’t want to campaign on their issues so they want the public to pay for them to continue to persecute/prosecute Hillary. Ryan should acknowledge Congress is the legislative branch of government, NOT the Justice Department. Congress can’t do their assigned job like passing a budget and passing legislation, so they waste more time. The RNC should pay for this fiasco just like it should pay for the non-consequential Benghazi investigation that cost us taxpayers well in excess of $7 million. After the hearings, Congress still does not have the power to prosecute.

Judicial Watch is working against her. That’s a plus. But really, with everything she has done, their must be some criminal charge that can be stick. Anyone who donated to the Clinton Foundation can bring criminal charges and ask for an inspection of the books. Which would led to all communications being open Right?
